Unfortunately our first Spring half term was disrupted by lockdown, however it didn't stop us having lots of fun exploring fictional and real life superheroes. From designing our own capes and making posters about superheroes, we practised a number of 'super' skills. We have been building on our knowledge of phase 3 phonics, using and applying numbers up to 10, DT and art skills, as well as learning about people and the emergency services. We loved the 'Supertato' books and used them to develop our 'talk for writing' which involves storymapping and retelling familiar stories. A big well done to both the children and their grown ups for working under strange and challenging circumstances!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
