I have two children, one currently in the school and the other starting in 2025.

I was previously a governor of a Southampton primary school for ten years in various roles including Chair of the Governing Board, Chair of Finance Committee, and as trustee of the Aspire Cooperative Trust.

I work as a compliance officer for HSBC, and bring experience of governance, policy writing, and advising and challenging executive management.

I am passionate about ensuring all children receive an enriching education that will enable them to fulfil their potential in a community that values them. I am grateful that our local school is such a welcoming place that inspires and challenges children, encouraging a lifelong love of learning. It has been wonderful to see my son grow and learn so much during his journey at the school.

I am the Rector of St Mary’s and St Paul’s Churches. I am married to Anne, and we have four sons, all of whom went to Stoke Park Infants. I was a Community Governor from 2007 -11 and returned to the Governing Body in 2022. I love being part of the community in Bishopstoke and being involved in school life, including Open the Book assemblies. Before training for ministry in the church, I was a musician, and my work included piano playing and teaching.

I trained as a teacher in the early 80s and taught through the Primary age range, including in special schools, before moving into Initial Teacher Education.   I moved to Bishopstoke at the end of 2022 and now work part time as a school link tutor, supporting Primary trainees from the University of Winchester.   I love being in school and am delighted to be a Governor of my local school.

I have one son who started school here in September 2023, and I have lived in the area for several years. I currently work as the Executive Officer for a community centre and charity, but have held many roles during my time there, which has helped me develop a wide ranging set of skills that I hope can benefit the school. This has included After-school Care Coordinator, Child and Youth Development worker, mental health first aider, mentor and a member of the safeguarding team.
