Welcome
The speech and language resourced provision is an inclusive provision for up to 14 children from the Foundation Stage to Year 6. The provision supports children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) who have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). The children are based in a mainstream class at either the Infant or Junior School, and supported by Resourced Provision LSAs, in class and at times out of class.
Some children identified and provided for at an early age are able to return to a more local school in the future and may no longer require an EHCP.
Other children have a more pervasive difficulty which means that they will continue to need support throughout their education.
Hampshire County provides funding and is responsible for admissions to the Resourced Provision in consultation with parents and education professionals linked to the school.
We welcome enquiries from both parents and education settings at any time and will be happy to answer your questions and signpost you in the right direction if you are considering a referral for a child.
